Knowing God

Gospel of Luke Part 79 – 16:13-21

Jesus is preaching at the self-righteous Pharisees who had been mocking Him. He did this out of genuine love for them that they might repent and be saved. The Lord brings out some powerful truths that will stir your soul and challenge your mind. At the end of the lesson we will begin looking at the account of Lazarus and the rich man, their death and judgment.

First John 3:22 Part 23

Verse 22 of the third chapter of First John is all about prayer and this is the focus of this lesson. This is among the most important subjects in Scripture. In these last days, we are in desperate need of men and women of prayer. You will learn much from this study.

Ephesians 3:12-15 Part 24

The great theme of Ephesians 3:12-15 is that all true followers of Jesus are given access to God’s throne through prayer. Faith is the means by which we can approach God and be pleasing to Him. It’s this same faith that takes children of the world that are separated from God to become adopted children of God. This message will stir your soul.

Ephesians 3:1-5 Part 20

In the first five verses of Ephesians chapter three Paul writes on his call to be an apostle to the Gentile world, or non-Jewish world. This is actually very radical. A Jew bent on persecuting Christians gets radically saved and the Lord sends him to reach a pagan world. This lesson is soul-stirring.

Ephesians 1:15-17 Part 7

In Ephesians 1:15-17 we will learn some very important truths that are practical for everyday life as a follower of Jesus. Three important points that we will touch on in this lesson are faith, prayer and knowing Jesus in a more personal way. This is a soul-stirring teaching.

The Gospel of John Part 74 – Jn. 21:1-14

Verses 1-14 of the 21st chapter of John is the portion of Scripture we will study in this podcast. What we see here is John’s final account of Jesus appearing to some of the apostles before He ascends to the Father. This is a wonderful portion of the Word that deals with some interesting truths. We also see here the Lord’s desire for the disciples to fellowship with Him, which is the greatest privilege given to mankind.

The Gospel of John Part 61 – Jn. 17:1-8

In this podcast we will study John 17:1-8. This is Christ’s High Priestly Prayer where He intercedes to the Father for the disciples. In the first five verses Jesus prays for Himself, but they are very selfless prayers that the Father would be glorified in the Son. In verse six Jesus begins praying for the disciples. There are some powerful lessons in this portion of Scripture so be sure to listen.

The Gospel of John Part 52 – Jn. 14:18-24

In our continuing study on the Gospel of John we will examine verses 18-24 of the fourteenth chapter. Central to these verses is the wonderful promise Jesus first gave those early disciples and now us, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” It is of great value to learn what Jesus was teaching about this promise and how it applies to our lives, so don’t miss this lesson.
