Gospel of Luke Part 34 – 6:39-49

Jesus said in Luke 6:39, “Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit?” What does it mean to be spiritually blind and what are the consequences? Equally as much, what does it mean to have spiritual eyes to see the truth and to know Him Who is the Truth? We will dig into these questions and others besides as we study the last eleven verses of the sixth chapter of the Gospel of Luke.

Gospel of Luke Part 27 – 1:56-80

We are still in the midst of the Christmas story in this lesson. The birth of John is the primary focus in this study. John is the cousin of Jesus who would one day be the prophet who prepares the way for Messiah. There’s a lot of truth presented on the Christmas story that many aren’t familiar with, so listen and learn. Merry Christmas!!!

First John 5:6-8 Part 32

Throughout John’s first epistle he has been teaching theology, but from the every-day-man’s approach. In the verses we will study in this lesson, he will get a little more formal in defending the divinity and humanity of Christ. This lesson is both interesting and challenging.

First John 5:2-5 Part 31

Love and faith are the subjects in this lesson. It is important that we understand these two integral components of Biblical Christianity. Since our salvation is defined and determined by God, it is rather important that we know what He has to say on the matter. Our opinions are of no value when it comes to salvation and eternity.

First John 4:19-5:1 Part 30

This lesson comes out of First John 4:19-5:1. John continues his discourse on love and presses home what it means to be a genuine follower of Jesus. One key evidence that we have truly been born again is that we begin to love others like Jesus loves us, which is selflessly and sacrificially. This is a good and timely message.

First John 3:22 Part 23

Verse 22 of the third chapter of First John is all about prayer and this is the focus of this lesson. This is among the most important subjects in Scripture. In these last days, we are in desperate need of men and women of prayer. You will learn much from this study.

First John 2:17-19 Part 12

Our reason for being as humans that are created in God’s image is the principle subject of this lesson. What this world offers is temporal. What God offers is eternal. We must choose which one we will follow and then face the consequences of our decision, whether it is good or bad.

Ephesians 6:19-24 Part 55

The final six verses of Ephesians chapter six are the focus of this final lesson on Paul’s Epistle. We will begin looking at prayer and end in loving God with an undying love. In between we will see the need to fellowship with other saints and how that benefits our walk with God.

Ephesians 6:14 Part 51

Ephesians 6:14 is the verse we will focus on in this lesson that is part of Paul’s teaching on the armor of God. There are three points in this verse: that Christians are to stand, and that we are to wear the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness. You will be encouraged by this teaching.

Ephesians 6:13 Part 50

The Apostle Paul’s command that we put on the full armor of God is the focus of this lesson that comes out of Ephesians 6:13. We not only have to believe that this spiritual war is real and that we have a spiritual enemy that wants to do us eternal harm, but we must be willing to fight.

Ephesians 6:12 Part 49

This lesson on Ephesians 6:12 presents the truth that there is a real devil with his demon hordes that every person must contend with. Either we find victory through Christ or we are defeated slaves of the devil. This is a challenging message so don’t miss it.

Ephesians 3:16-17 Part 25

In Ephesians 3:16-17 we will study such topics as the glorious riches of Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit that’s made available to us and what it means for Christ to dwell in our hearts through faith. This encouraging message will boost you faith.

Ephesians 2:1-4 Part 12

In this lesson we will study the first four verses of Ephesians chapter two. The powerful truths that this portion of Scripture presents is life changing when applied to life. The topics will range from being dead in sin, being alive in Christ and the work of Satan. This lesson will close looking at God’s great love.

Ephesians 1:19-20 Part 10

Ephesians 1:19-20 are the verses we will study today. The two principle subjects we will examine are the riches of God glorious inheritance He gives to the saints and His incomparably great power for us who believe. This is a good lesson to help you through the week so don’t miss it.
