Forgiveness

Gospel of Luke Part 107 – 24:32-53

We now come to the final lesson from the Gospel of Luke. This is about Christ resurrection, ascension and sending out His followers to make disciples of all nations. Jesus told those disciples to first go into Jerusalem and pray until the power of the Holy Spirit fills them and that’s where this Gospel ends, and the Book of Acts picks up. Guess what next book of the New Testament that we will study next?

Gospel of Luke Part 69 – 12:54-13:5

As we end our study in Luke chapter 12 we will begin digging into chapter 13. In the 11 verses we will examine, there are 3 important topics that are addressed. The first is about understanding the times, the second is our need to agree with our adversary and finally, unless we repent, we won’t enter the Kingdom of God. This is a challenging message.

Gospel of Luke Part 64 – 12:4-10

This lesson begins with Jesus teaching the disciples to not fear those who can kill the body, but to fear God who after killing the body can cast the person into hell. Central to this thought is our need to love Jesus more than ourselves. This is necessary if we are going to live out the Biblical faith. From this subject Jesus moves on to teach what is often called the unforgiveable sin. You need to listen to this podcast to learn what that sin really is.

Gospel of Luke Part 20 – 5:27-39

The account of Matthew’s call to discipleship and conversion is the subject of this lesson. This is a wonderful expression of true salvation coming to a man that lived an ungodly life. You will be encouraged by this podcast. You can subscribe for free to this podcast through iTunes, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Tunein and Blubrry, just to name a few.

Gospel of Luke Part 19 – 5:16-26

The historical account we will examine in this lesson is about the healing of a paralytic man. At this preaching event the Pharisees and experts in the Mosaic Law came in judgment of Jesus. Of course, Jesus rises to the occasion by healing the paralytic and silencing the religious rulers with a very simple, yet logical argument. This is a great story to teach about.

Gospel of Luke Part 17 – 4:43-5:12

In this lesson we will cover a lot of ground. We will finish studying the Lord’s visit to Capernaum and what happens when He leaves. Then we will examine Peter’s call to follow Jesus. Finally, we will begin looking at the account of a leper that begs Jesus to heal him. There are some great lessons to be learned from this podcast.

First John 2:18-22 Part 13

This lesson was challenging for me to teach and it will be challenging for some of you to hear. Listen to the whole lesson and see if what I am teaching is soundly built upon God’s Word. The message itself is very important because it is about living ready for Christ’s second coming.

First John 2:1-2 Part 6

In this lesson we will examine First John 2:1-2. The principle subject of this study is on Christ’s work of atonement through His death on the cross. This truth is foundational to the Biblical faith and understanding this is necessary to help us live out what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Ephesians 5:1-2 Part 38

Ephesians 5:1-2 is the portion of Scripture we are examining in this lesson. The subject is on love, but not as the world thinks of love. This is a divine love that the Lord made a way for it to work in and through those who truly follow Jesus. This lesson will challenge and encourage you.

Ephesians 4:32 Part 37

Forgiveness is the topic of this study that comes out of Ephesians 4:32. It deals both with our need of forgiveness and our need to forgive and how these two are tied into each other. This is a powerful and relevant lesson that we all need to understand and apply to our lives.

Ephesians 3:12-15 Part 24

The great theme of Ephesians 3:12-15 is that all true followers of Jesus are given access to God’s throne through prayer. Faith is the means by which we can approach God and be pleasing to Him. It’s this same faith that takes children of the world that are separated from God to become adopted children of God. This message will stir your soul.
