The subject of today’s study on Character and God’s power is tongues set on fire by heaven. To have tongues set on fire by hell comes to us very naturally. But if we want tongues set on fire by heaven it must be a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. That is exactly what God wants to do in the lives of true believers. If we want tongues set on fire by heaven than our lives must first be ablaze with holy fire for Jesus. The world may not understand this, but it is waiting for the moment when saints will be so full of the Spirit that they proclaim to a dying world with tongues of holy fire the wonders of our crucified and resurrected Lord.
