The Radical Truth

This is the introduction to our new series titled, "Person and Work of the Holy Spirit." This new series is the prayerful and logical conclusion after teaching on revival, and prior to that, the Book of Acts. We need to base our faith upon the truth and this stands true with the Holy Spirit. So take the time to listen to this series and learn who the Holy Spirit is and what He does in the life of believers and the world at large.

This is the final lesson in our series on revival. The closing topic is on faith, for we must have faith to believe the promises of God concerning revival and put that faith into proper use through prayer. I pray this series has awakened your heart to our desperate need for revival.

An integral part of genuine revival is reformation, which is the restoring of the truth that has been forsaken, either through neglect or outright apostacy. This is a very important lesson in this series on revival.

Authentic revival is a spiritual revolution that transforms people, families, communities and even nations. This is the subject of this lesson that is sure challenge your heart.

In authentic revival the truly revived have a passion to rescue the perishing. This passion for the lost is caught, not taught. May you catch something of this passion in this lesson.

This is a challenging message, for it deals with the eternal state of those who die without becoming a true follower of Jesus. You need to listen to this.

The focus of this lesson is on how God heals a land through revival as He promised in 2 Chronicles 7:14. This is a soul-stirring message that will encourage your heart and help you want to prepare the way for authentic revival.

In this lesson on revival we will examine the absolute necessity that the work of atonement Jesus did on the cross is preached under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This message is extremely important and it will challenge you.

What does the Bible refer to when it talks about valleys? Many times it has to do with the deep struggles and pain we have. In this lesson we will look at what these valleys are and how they hinder revival from coming to our life, church and nation.

Tearing down spiritual mountains and filling in spiritual and emotional valleys are the subjects of this lesson. We are still studying the necessity of revival and have been for a few lessons in Isaiah chapter 40, verses 1-5. In this portion of Scripture we will continue to learn how to prepare the way for revival to come to our own life, church and nation.

We are still studying Isaiah 40:1-4. At this point, we are digging into some of the hindrances to revival such as unbelief, irresponsibility and pride. These mountains must be torn down so that revival can come to us personally, to our local church and to our nation.

The life and ministry of John the Baptist was prophesied about in Isaiah chapter 40. Using verses 1-5 we have been for the last couple of weeks learning what these verses have to teach us about authentic revival. As we look at John, whose ministry it was to prepare the way for Messiah to come to His people, we will see how this truth relates to the true church, who is called of God to prepare the way for the Holy Spirit to come to those who are genuine followers of the Savior.

We will take an honest look at John the Baptist in this lesson and see that he was a radical that loved God supremely. Jesus called him the greatest prophet that ever was because he prepared the way for the promised Messiah to come to His people. Here is a powerful truth about revival; if there is no John the Baptist kind of people to prepare the way for the Lord to come to His people, then revival will be kept from the church and nation. The Lord is looking for men and women that will stand in the gap to be agents of revival. We are in desperate need of such saints.

How are we to prepare the way for revival to come to our lives, families, churches, communities and nation? This is the subject of this lesson in our continuing series on revival. We will only start examining how to prepare for revival and will pick up in the next couple of lesson this extremely important subject.
