Dear Web-Surfer,

Want to know how you got here?  It was not by accident.  The God that created you has now led you to this web site.  He wants you to know the depths of His love and how you can know Him in this life and spend eternity with Him in the next.  His plan of salvation is simple.  It is able to satisfy the curiosity of an intellectual and uncomplicated enough to draw a child.

A God worth serving is more than able to reveal Himself to humanity.  He has not had an identity crisis—He knows who He is and how we are to serve Him.   The Creator has plainly revealed Himself through the written Word—the Bible.  And the Living Word, Jesus, walked this earth two thousand years ago, seeking to save all who were lost.  Now He is seeking to save you!

THREE SIMPLE TRUTHS FOR SALVATION:

1.         YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE A SINNER.

The Bible clearly teaches that every person is a sinner by nature and by choice (Romans. 3:23).  The essence of all sin is the willful breaking of God’s law (1 John. 3:4).  Sin is always a lawless act that places the unrepentant sinner at war with a holy God.  Right and wrong has been clearly defined by this benevolent God.  He gave us His moral law for our well being and so we can have a personal relationship with Him.  True morality will never be “relative,” or subject to personal opinions.  We will all stand before this all-powerful Lawgiver and give an account of our lives.

Sin is destructive!  Most importantly sin destroys relationship between God and man. Then it inflicts both temporal and eternal sorrow upon the sinner.  Through our sin we hurts our friends, loved ones and even strangers. This is the very nature of sin—pain, sorrow and despair.  In the end the eternal wages of sin yields the penalty of hell itself.  Until you begin to understand that you are a sinner and what the consequences of your sin actually produces, you will never seek the Savior to rescue you.

2.         YOU MUST REALIZE THAT JESUS IS THE ONLY SAVIOR.

All roads do not lead to heaven.  Besides the fact that such a belief is illogical, it is based upon a lie.  The Lord of heaven has plainly and unequivocally told us that there is only one way to heaven, and that is through Jesus Christ.   Jesus stated that He was literally the “Way and the Truth and the Life” (John 14:6).  Then He told us that no one can go to heaven except through Him.

God’s plan of salvation has been clearly revealed to us.  The real issue is not if the claims of Christ are true, for they are and will hold up to any honest investigation, but will you embrace the truth?  Only when you comprehend that you are a sinner, and that the only savior is Jesus Christ, will you then be willing to take the third step listed below.

3.         THAT YOU MUST GIVE YOU ENTIRE LIFE TO JESUS.

A real Christian is one who has given his or her entire life to Christ and now lives by the wonderful principles of God’s Word.  The Savior will never accept half-hearted devotion.  The Lord of Creation will only accept your entire surrender.  The abandonment of your life to Jesus is the only reasonable response for the forgiveness He so freely gives to those who truly repent of their sin.

To repent means to turn away from your sin and then live a life of loving devotion to the Savior.  Jesus gave us this wonderful commandment,Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37).  If you love Him with your entire being you will know His infinite love in return and find surrendering your whole life to Him far easier than you thought.  His love is more than worth it.

You are now left with the most important decision of your life: What will you do with Jesus? There is only one correct response to this question—to abandon your life to Him.  You are forced to make a decision.  You will either accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior or you will reject Him.  The choice is yours.  Your eternal destiny is determined by this decision.
